Teacup Apple And Raisin Bread Puddings Recipe



  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon custard powder
  • 1 cup HeartActive milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely grated orange rind
  • olive oil spray
  • 3 slices raisin bread
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped cinnamon, for sprinkling


  1. Whisk egg, sugar and powder together until combined, whisk in HeartActive and orange rind.
  2. Trim crusts from bread and cut each slice into 4 triangles.
  3. Lightly spray 2 x large ovenproof teacups or ramekins with oil and layer bread triangles and apples into dishes. Pour over milk mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon. Stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Bake at 160°C for 40 minutes or until set. Stand for 10 minutes before serving.
